Oak Tree

I am here.
Sitting under this old oak tree.
This was our oak tree.
The memories stays in this tree. How we put your name in this tree. How we lay down under this tree. How we climb up on to this tree. When I almost fell and you catch-ed me. I still can feel your strong hand. I still can feel the smell of your perfume. That fruit smell when we were kids.
It was almost 10 years ago.
Your cheeky face. Your sweet smile. Your unbelievable smile. Your voice.
In age 12, you told me you liked me and I told you so. We were so young. We were such a dreamer. We dreamt so many things.
In age 15, when we took a rest under this tree, and lay down for a bit, you told me that I am gonna be your future.
In age 17 we both celebrated my sweet 17 birthday. You surprised me with two roses completed with two notes each. The first note says "For my one and only love." The second note says "For my one and only best friend."
We lived our life; pretty amazing.
This tree watched every single thing we did since we were kids. This tree has a memory that made us like this. I love this tree like I love you.
Thank you oak tree, you've made me and my best friend has something to remember, memories.
